But briefly, our soaps are hand made in small batches. This means no 2 batches will ever be the same, and nor will each soap in the same batch. These are not mass produced by a machine.
They are created with love, carefully crafted recipes, 100% natural ingredients, and they embrace the Wabi-Sabi culture.
This culture ensures our products are unique and left slightly imperfect rather than a sanitised perfect version
We believe it is beauty in imperfection and we intentionally leave them this way.
They will infuse this love into your skin and they won't worry about your little imperfections either! Our soap will support you to be at your beautiful best.

Because our soaps are made of 100% natural oils they need to be drained well after use and not left in a bowl of liquid!
We recommend using a soap dish if you are storing the soap in the shower or on the hand basin, preferably one with drain holes to allow the water to drain away or at least into a holder beneath which you can empty.
By ensuring the soap is not left in a pool of water, you will get a longer life out of your soap and it will not "melt" prematurely.
All Soaps are made using Sodium Hydroxide. This saponifies during the process with the oils and water and by the time your soap is a hard bar the Sodium Hydroxide has essentially evaporated from the soap.
Another name for the combination of Sodium Hydroxide and Water is called Lye.
A soap made without lye is made with either animal products like Tallow or a combination of detergents, surfactants and emollients from laboratory produced synthetics. Kahuku Products are free from animal products, detergents, and synthetically produced ingredients.
