We donate 5% of our sales to a few chosen Charities.

The Orangutan Project

The Orangutan Project was formed with a key mission; to ensure that endangered wild Orangutan species would be protected against extinction, and would continue to live in secure populations for generations to come.

The projects funded by The Orangutan Project not only include direct orangutan conservation, such as orangutan rescue, rehabilitation and release programs, but also forest habitat protection and regeneration, education, research and local community partnerships.  Tying funding into direct outcomes for the species has enabled The Orangutan Project to partner with the majority of orangutan conservations projects operating on the ground today in Borneo and Sumatra.

So say NO to Palm Oil by purchasing our product, and choose The Orangutan Project at checkout as your Charity for Kahuku to donate 5% of your purchase to.

Forest & Bird is defending nature across Aoteoroa New Zealand.
Supporting Forest & Bird is one of the best things you can do for New Zealand's environment. With our support, nature will always have a voice.

Monarch Butterfly NZ Trust

Some butterflies and moths are already at risk from environmental factors. Did you know that New Zealand's Monarch is also considered a native of New Zealand? It arrived here on it's own and established and is therefore considered one of our own.

In addition, MBNZT supports New Zealand's other native butterflies too!

Donations go towards many projects such as the tagging project and helps continue work to protect and learn more about NZ’s endemic and native butterflies and moths, and habitat. Through this education MBNZT can help to support and save our species.

You get to choose the Charity you support at checkout, and you don't pay a cent.  We deduct 5% from your sale and donate it to the Charity you choose.

In addition to these Charitable Donations we give each person in our company  the opportunity to spend at least one day per year fully paid by us, volunteering for a charity of their choice and fundraising or doing unpaid charity work.

In 2018 The Heart Foundation benefited from this support in the annual street appeal.
